About this experience

This is probably one of the best routes if you would like to see two coastlines- part of the Amalfi Coast and part of the Sorrento Coast. If you are transferring hotels, for example, you can get on in Positano with your luggage, store it in the cabin, and end the excursion in Sorrento. There are many options. Immerse yourself in beautiful beaches, charming fishing villages and laid back vibes. A waterfall cascading off the rocks and into the sea is a highlight of the day! Explore Giovanna's Baths, one of the coast's best kept secrets. Stop to swim, explore sea caves and take in the breathtaking views along the coast. Around lunchtime the skipper can pull the boat up to a seaside restaurant where you can stop for a local lunch. The day can be customised by allocating more time to what you are most interested in seeing. This is a very special part of the Sorrentine Peninsula and Amalfi Coast, waiting to be explored and the perfect way to do it is on a private boat with a local skipper.

Detailed itinerary

1
Stop 1 Pass by

A set of private islands off the coast of Positano where Ulysses heard the song of the sirens as he passed through. There is an underwater nature reserve in the middle of the archipelago and a beautiful view of Positano as well as Capri, from both sides.

2

Tordigliano's wonderful beach is one of the few wild and natural spots on the coast perfect for swimming. This beach is a particularly popular destination for summertime camping and stargazing.

3

A small fishing village on the Amalfi Coast and proud flyer of the "Blue Flag", which is awarded to various beaches under strict criteria, signifying high quality and cleanliness of the sea. Here you will have the opportunity to stop for a seaside lunch at one of the small, family operated restaurants that dot the beach. This is a village that you would not normally have the opportunity to see unless from a private boat.

4

The Bay of Ieranto is a rocky inlet between Punta Campanella and Punta Penna and is the gem of this Marine Protected Area. It can only be reached on foot or by boat. With its uncontaminated beauty, it is one of the most evocative places in Massa Lubrense.

5

The point where the Sorrentine Peninsula merges into the Amalfi Coast. It is a nature reserve with breathtaking views and a 14th century tower which served as a lookout. The tower had a bell that was rung to warn of pirate invasions. This is probably how Punta Campanella (Bell Point) got its name.

6

Known as "the land of the Sirens," the coast around Massa Lubrense offers pristine waters and ancient myths.
This coastline is beautifully preserved, with Mediterranean vegetation and views of small villages like Marina della Lobra nestled in secluded bays.

7
Stop 7 Pass by

This natural pool is known for its ruins of a Roman villa and breathtakingly clear water. You can dive off the boat and swim inside if you would like, or simply pass by without stopping.

8

Admire the Sorrentine Peninsula, the boat excursion highlights some must-see spots and offers options for relaxation, sightseeing, and crystal clear water, stopping along the way.

9

Marina Piccola is the main harbor while Marina Grande, Sorrento's old fishing port, is known for its traditional charm, pastel-colored houses, and local seafood restaurants. There are various ports/piers on the Sorrentine Peninsula, let us know where you prefer to end the excursion and we will accomodate if possible.
