Great coffee tour and waterfalls for travelers in Moshi around Kilimanjaro region. Materuni waterfalls is located 15 km from Moshi town and its 1 hour, 30 minutes drive on private car from Arusha town. You will be picked up from the hotel or lodge in Arusha either Moshi by our Guide from Taste of Afrika Safaris and you will drive to Materuni Village. While at the village you will start registration and there after your will proceed to the water falls which is 40 minutes walking.
Reaching the waterfalls you will enjoy the view and our guide will give you a detailed information about the water falls, you will enjoy your swimming
After having enjoyed the scenery, you slowly return with your guide to Materuni village, where you will learn a traditional Chagga food, how cofee is cultivated and processed, . You also will have the opportunity to taste local banana beer, with Chagga songs as well and you will return back to your drop off point.
