Imlil is a small village located in the Atlas Mountains of Morocco, about 64 km south of Marrakech. It is situated at an altitude of 1,740 meters above sea level and is a popular starting point for treks and hikes in the High Atlas Mountains, including Mount Toubkal, the highest peak in North Africa.

We pick you up from your hotel / Riad in Marrakech at 9 am, and then we will head towards the Ourika Valley. After a break in the village of Tafza, including a visit to the typical Berber house with views of the area, we will begin our ascent. First, we will head towards Oukaimeden, one of the few ski slopes in Morocco, and continue along the quiet roads. When we reach almost 2,000 meters high, we will stop to take some pictures of the snow-covered mountains in the background. Then we will begin the descent towards Asni. On the other side of the valley, you can admire many Berber villages in the distance, tucked between the cliffs and lush vegetation. For lunch, they can choose between eating inside a traditional house with a Berber family, or inside the valley at a local restaurant in the nearby town of Asni. A very important Berber souk is held every Saturday, where farmers bring fruit, vegetables, and livestock to sell.
