About this experience

We are pleased to welcome you to our Westcoast adventure tour. Our guides are eager to show you the best St. Lucian experience. We have included a few unique stops to our tour to stand out from the competition. We have included the islands local breakfast as our first stop as well as visiting a local farm for fresh coconuts.

On this tour you get to see the magnificent Pitons which is a world heritage site located in the town of Soufriere. There are many other highlights in town such as mineral bath, waterfalls, Botanical Gardens, zipline etc which can be selected on tour.

Detailed itinerary

One of our first points to highlight is the capital of St. Lucia Castries. We will drive pass and highlight the Castries Market, based on your itinerary for the say We can choose to stop if you wish to buy any souvenirs. We will also highlight The Derick Walcort square one of our Nobel laureates. We will also give you a brief history of important about the capital.

Stop 2

Morne Fortune is an old English barracks. There we are going to do our first view stop which overlooks the entire north part of the island. At the view, we will highlight areas of interest. We will then drive past some historic two-hundred-year-old buildings which are now a college named after our second Nobel prize winner Sir Arthur Lewis.

We do a stop at a local family restaurant hidden in the hills of Cul De Sac. There we do the St. Lucia tradition breakfast which consists of hot bakes with salted Cod and Cocoa Tea(100% local cocoa, spices, custard, and milk). This part of the tour can be optional if already had breakfast before the tour begins.

One of the must see views on the island is Marigot Bay. Said to be in the top 6 unique bays in the Caribbean. This small bay is where the first Dr. Dolittles movie was filmed. Your tour guide will also mention a few extra details in regard to this beautiful day.

We then stop at a local banana plantation which is our main export crop and have you sample fresh bananas. We then head over to the distillery to sample 20 of our local rums. St. Lucia is known as a big rum-producing island and you will have a good idea of the quality of the rum we produce. This stop does not include the Rum tour, we only do the Rum Tasting.

We head over to a local farm at this stop to sample freshly picked Coconuts as well as local Cocoa beans. This stop requires wet shoes since we have to cross a small river/stream.

Soufriere is rich is culture and great local experiences. We first stop to view the magnificent pitons. You then have the opportunity with the assistance of your guide to do at least two to three attractions in Soufriere, this would have probably been discussed while touring. You get a chance to do the mud baths, waterfalls, botanical gardens, and the Tete Paul nature trail. All these attractions will be explained in detail by your guide.
