In the midst of the lush hills on the island of Skiathos a group of volunteers have created a haven for stray dogs that are looking for their forever homes.
To give the dogs a safe place and a location, that would provide both cool winds during hot summer days, privacy and calmness in the evenings. The local monastery (Evangelistria), has offered a piece of land out of town the Islands Landfill site.
Here at a local residence you will meet a lovely lady called Maria , she will show you how to cook traditional dishes and you will enjoy a delicious lunch together.
