About this experience

Meet your local guide and stroll through the white cobbled streets of Fira, the capital of Santorini. Visit the “Gold” Street with interesting and beautiful handmade jewelry on display. Grab handmade ice cream and walk a short section of the famous Santorinian donkey roads, which were frequently used by the locals to carry their goods and reach Fira’s cable car. Enjoy a 5-minute panoramic cable car ride from the top of the Caldera down to the picturesque old port. Pass through the Venetian district surrounded by numerous churches overlooking the Caldera, walk by its edge and reach one of the most famous and photographed blue dome churches of Santorini, located in Firostefani.
At the end of the tour, get introduced to Pelican Kipos, located in the heart of Fira, where there is a unique wine cellar with renowned as well as rare local wines and other alcoholic beverages. Should you wish to have a wine tasting experience, can be arranged on the spot optionally.
