This 4 hour food tour of Montreal’s historic Jewish neighborhoods begins at a beloved smoked meat deli, and only gets better from there. Your guide will lead you to a slew of other neighborhood eateries. There will be a rival smoked meat location, two rival bagel shops, a bakery for some sweets, an ice cream stop, a unique diner and an Israeli falafel stop. The tour is full of history of the Jewish community and each establishment as well as all of the significant landmarks along the way.

We will visit a Jewish Deli and a kosher bakery in this neighbourhood as well as discuss the neighbourhood's history and the history of Montreal's Jewish community and their settlement patterns.
We will see two rival bagel shops, a falafel shop and a diner in a league of their own in this neighbourhood, as well as many cultural and historical stops. (Former synagogues, the houses of famous writers, green, alleyways, former city hall and much more! )
In this neighbourhood we will visit a hip young Jewish bakery as well as a smoked meat establishment. We will see historical Jewish landmarks, a park, the house of a famous Montreal Jew, a synagogue and a former Yiddish theatre, a public bath house, a building that housed Jewish labour organizations, and much more.
