Our next stop after Abhaneri is Fatehpur Sikri, a charming city in northern India that was founded by a 16th-century Mughal emperor. This small city boasts red sandstone buildings clustered at its center, with the impressive Buland Darwaza gate serving as the entrance to Jama Masjid mosque. A must-see nearby is the beautiful marble Tomb of Salim Chishti, while Diwan-E-Khas hall features an intricately carved central pillar. The Jodha Bais Palace stands out for its fusion of Hindu and Mughal architectural styles, situated right next to the stunning 5-story Panch Mahal which offers breathtaking views of the entire site.
