Our tour will start at our meeting point near One Battery Park Plaza opened in 1971, where we can have a panoramic view of our next destination, Liberty Island.
We'll continue to take a walk from One Battery to catch our ferry
We will travel aboard the ferry to the Liberty Island, our guide will give you a brief explanation of the route.
Since 1886, the Statue of Liberty has welcomed millions to New York City and the United States. You will be able to get up close and personal to this international symbol and learn the history behind the statue and how it came to be on Liberty Island.
We will provide you with the audio guide, so that you can explore the area on your own
Then our guide will escort you through the Statue of Liberty Museum with multimedia exhibits and historical artefacts, such as the Statue's original torch
On Ellis Island you will visit the National Museum of Immigration to learn about the journey of the millions of immigrants who passed through the island from 1892-1924, arriving in America, in search of a better life.
Look for ‘The View at The Battery’ restaurant where you will find the Statue Cruises security checkpoint where you must show your tickets. Tickets will be sent from Amigo Tours before the day of the activity.
