After 20 minutes driving with 8 seats air-conditioned minivan you will reach Forza D’Agrò, a real and authentic small Sicilian village. Take a Walking tour of the old town and visit the places where The Godfather movie was played.
After a Walking tour of the village with explanation of Sicilian authentic culture and way of leaving You will drive towards Savoca, the second Sicilian small village where the movie was played. The famous Bar Vitelli where Michael Corleone met the father of his future wife Apollonia. Then walk 5 minutes to reach Saint Lucy Church where they got married. While taking the walking tour Your Guide will introduce you the real history of Sicilian Mafia, how it grows up and spread very fast all around Italy.
You will listen about the real structure (cupola), about its Boss and about the Mafia clan wars to control the territory. You will discover how 2 Sicilian Officers (Falcone and Borsellino) thanks also to some “Mafia repented men”, were very near to discover the truth about Mafia and its collusion with Italian politicians.
