At Chapman Tours we under stand and respect the magic of the Three Sisters. They are known worldwide and in 2024 they were the most visited location in Australia outside of our capitol cities. The towering sandstone formations have been standing tall for millions of years and you will be mesmerised by their silent beauty. We allow plenty of time to enjoy the 3 lookouts and marvel at not just the Three Sisters but the incredible expanse of the Jamison Valley.
At Chapman Tours we love taking guests to Scenic World, truly one of the greatest Australian success stories. Surrounded by endless views and lush rain-forest in the World Heritage-listed Blue Mountains, we are passionate about creating lifelong memories for guests from all over the world. Scenic World is home to the world’s steepest railway, the steepest cable car in the Southern Hemisphere, the first cable car in Australia, and one of the longest elevated boardwalks in Australia.
Established in 1945, Scenic World began when Harry Hammon, a local entrepreneur, had the vision to transform a former coal mine into an iconic tourist attraction.
When the Katoomba Colliery closed in 1945, Harry recognised an opportunity to innovate - he converted the old coal skips and existing rail track into a passenger train, creating what is still the world’s steepest passenger train.
You will love your experience at Scenic World!
