About this experience

In this tour, we will visit toexplore Innwa. It known as Ava is the Myanmar Kingdom for nearly by 400 years. Upon arrival in Innwa, we will take a horsecart ride to see the attraction in Innwa. As a first sightseeing, we will visit Bagaya Monastery which date from 1834.You can see the 267 gigantic teak wood posts and you can study the beautiful Myanmar architectural works such as carvings, reliefs of birds and animals..After that we will head to Queen Mae Nu’s brick monastery built by Mae Nu, wife of King Bagyidaw .The monastery is decorated with fine stucco sculptures. In the evening we will back to Mandalay, on the way visit to Amarapura - an ancient capital built on the advice of astrologers. Proceed to U Bein Bridge to take a walk and built. It is an old wooden bridge across the Taung Thaman Lake which is built over 200years ago and 1.2km long. Then proceed to Mandalay.
