The tour starts at 7:30 AM with a pick-up from your hotel in Hanoi. You will then depart for Ninh Binh province, which is about a 2-hour drive from Hanoi. On the way, you would have a short break for 15-20 minutes to relax. By 10:30 AM, you will visit Hoa Lư, the ancient capital of Vietnam between 968 and 1010. Here, you will learn about Vietnamese history in the feudal system under Dinh, Le, and Ly Dynasty.
By 11:45 AM, you will have a buffet lunch in a restaurant with local dishes (vegetarian foods are available as well). Then, you will continue to visit Tam Coc by 1.5-hour bamboo boat. During the boat trip, you will see paddy fields, rivers, water, clouds, sky, and a stunning cave system. This is why Tam Coc is known as the "Ha Long Bay on land". After that, you will continue the tour for 45 minutes by cycling around the village to discover the life of the local people (if you don't want to bike, you could choose to walk around the villages)
At 3:30 PM, you will get back on the bus and leave for Mua Cave (Dancing Cave). You will then walk up almost 500 steps to reach the top of Lying Dragon Mountain, where you will have an amazing panoramic view of Tam Coc. This marks the end of our tour when you will get on the bus to return to Hanoi. You will be dropped off back to your hotel by around 6.30 PM.
