Get ready—our adventure begins soon! The bus is on its way, so grab your gear, feel the excitement, and let's hit the road! We depart from Melbourne city around 8:00am, for a fun filled day in the snow.

As part of the experience, guests will have the opportunity to support locals and buy something for lunch at Beechworth Bakery in Healesville or while on the mountain (at the guest's own expense).

Lake Mountain offers the perfect mix of adventure and relaxation, with charming chalets, panoramic summit views, and a welcoming, family-friendly atmosphere. Whether you’re racing your friends down the toboggan hill or simply soaking up the alpine beauty, it’s a snow day you won’t forget.
With three hours to explore the mountain, you can embrace the winter fun however you like: enjoy a peaceful snow walk, glide across cross-country ski trails, build a snowman, or zoom down the toboggan slopes. (Please note: access to the Village and Mini toboggan runs requires a ticket.)

stopping off at the Yarra Valley Chocolaterie and Ice Creamery to get your taste buds tingling. The perfect way to end the day is with a deliciously smooth Hot Chocolate or some of their locally infused ice-cream flavoured with ingredients sourced directly from the kitchen garden. For those who have never been to a snowy destination before, this is an excellent winter wonderland escape.

Only Lake Mountain-provided toboggans may be used on the Village Toboggan Run, Mini Toboggan Run, and Koala Creek Run (if open)—no private sleds or makeshift slides allowed
While you may bring your own cross-country skis or snowshoes, these must be hired or sourced off-premises (e.g., in Marysville) before arrival. Lake Mountain only provides clothing and snow boots 
Please note there are no ski lessons offered on the mountain this 2025 season
