This lovely full day excursion is a unique opportunity to get in close contact with the Argentine Gaucho, his traditional music and dances, and participate in a real gaucho festival. The party is held at a beautiful country residence, an old ranch on the outskirts of Buenos Aires. You will be welcomed by the host family, and offered some typical Argentinean specialties such as “Empanadas” (meat pastry) and excellent Argentinean wine. There will be time to ride horses and walk around, admiring the Argentinean “pampas”. Afterwards, lunch will be served, with a typical Argentine “asado” (B.B.Q.), including “chorizos”, steaks, salads, desserts and coffee. After the meal, a folkloric musical show will take place followed by Argentine song and dance. Later, you will be invited to watch the “carrera de sortijas” (ring-race) and the “carrera cuadrera” (horse races), two typical entertainment where gauchos show off their horsemanship skills.
