The Tomb of I'timād-ud-Daulah is a Mughal mausoleum located in the city of Agra, India. Also known as the "Baby Taj," it was built between 1622 and 1628 for Mirza Ghiyas Beg, a Persian nobleman and the grandfather of Mumtaz Mahal, the wife of the Mughal emperor Shah Jahan. The tomb is renowned for its intricate inlay work, using semi-precious stones such as jasper and lapis lazuli, as well as its beautiful gardens and water features. It is considered a masterpiece of Mughal architecture and a precursor to the Taj Mahal, which was built by Shah Jahan in memory of his beloved wife.
