Detailed itinerary

Stop 1

You will start your half-day excursion with pick-up from your hotel or riad. Then a visit to the prestigious Majorelle garden: a soothing retreat nearby, and yet so far from the city animated by its splendor. You will explore its intriguing history, discover its architecture of French influence and its connection with the famous French designer Yves Saint Laurent and the famous painter/botanist Jacques Majorelle. You will have the chance to stroll along shaded alleys, to discover exotic plants, and to pass in front of streams and swimming pools filled with water lilies and lotus flowers.

Stop 2

We will continue our visit by going to the Royal Kasbah in the southern part of the old medina of Marrakech. Built by Sultan Almohad Mansour al-Yacoub, it is the site of "El Mansoura" (the great mosque of the kasbah) and Saadian tombs. You will visit the Saadian tombs, recently discovered and restored in 1917. Because of the beauty of their decoration, these tombs are a major attraction for visitors to Marrakech. It is one of the rare vestiges of the Saadian dynasty which reigned over the golden age of Marrakech between 1524 and 1659.

After that, we will visit the most beautiful palaces and monuments of Marrakech, the Bahia Palace. Built-in the late 19th century, the name literally means "brilliance" and was intended to be the greatest palace of its time. The best workers and artisans of the country have worked continuously for six years (1894-1900) to achieve it.
