Explore truly unique experience in the heart of Quito city and discovering its history from a local eye; walk around its narrow streets visiting the most iconic architecture buildings such as; the Golden Church, San Francisco Square, the Main Square and at the same time visit Luis´ local workshop “Cruz Verde”, a well know artisan whose family has prepared the local candy “Colaciones” for the last 100 years keeping alive Quito´s tradition.
For lunch, we will have the opportunity to seat with locals and enjoy a tasty meal freshly prepared using local products and flavors.
In the afternoon, we will visit the Proyecto Salesiano Foundation dedicated to educate and support local homeless children. Our main goal is to interact with the kids and learn about their different situations and reality. With your visit, you are already contributing to the effort made by AJ and the Foundation helping the education of the children.
