This is the best half day mountain tour to get out of Denver and see the mountains without spending an entire day touring. These small group tours are designed to get you out to See, Learn and Explore not just drive past. This tour really highlights the best of our Denver Mountain Park system. Visit Red Rocks Park and amphitheater, then travel up into the mountains via  Bear Creek Canyon to the quaint mountain town of Evergreen.  Browse the local shops or enjoy a quick drink in the Saloon, winery, or local coffee shop. Witness beautiful Rocky Mountain vistas while climbing over a beautiful mountain pass to  Echo Lake at 10,600 ft.  Stroll around this beautiful glacial lake sitting at the base of 14,256 foot Mt. Travel up Squaw Pass where you will enjoy breathtaking views of the Continental Divide and Rocky Mountains along this Scenic Byway. We recommend a jacket year round as the mountains are always colder than Denver. In the winter hat and gloves are recommended as well.
Children under 4 years old not permitted
Access into the amphitheatre is dependent on sound check closures by performers the day of. We recommend taking our morning tour for best chances of accessing the inside of the amphitheatre itself during concert seasons.

Meeting point

Your Driver/Guide will greet you at the flag pole in front of Union Station and the Crawford Hotel(1701 Wynkoop St). Meeting times are 8:15 am for the morning tour and 12:15 pm for the afternoon tour. Our touring vans have our round Colorado Sightseer logo on the rear side panels.
