From the busy streets of Naples to the top of Italy’s most famous volcano, this half-day Vesuvius tour is an absolute must-see when visiting the region. Following a late morning pickup from a centrally located meeting point, you will be whisked out of the city where you can enjoy a delicious lunch with the group before embarking on your mountain climb. Then, set off on the 500m hike to the summit. Once at the top you can follow the trail around the impressive crater, enjoy spectacular views of the Bay of Naples to the east and west, and stare down into the depths of the slumbering volcano.
