The palace houses numerous art collections and is one of the most significant landmarks in Florence. The grand halls of the Pitti Palace contain remarkable works of art by Renaissance masters, and it served as the Medici family’s royal residence for centuries.
The Pitti Palace is also home to the Palatina Gallery, which holds over 500 paintings from the Renaissance period, including works by Titian, Botticelli, and Caravaggio.work, the Statue of David, and other important masterpieces. David is one of the world-famous masterpieces of Michelangelo!
