Remember that the Chichen Itza tax must be paid on arrival, and costs 42 USD per adult, and must be paid by credit card.
Bring mosquito repellent, sunscreen, sunglasses, water, a camera, a hat or cap, and cash. Also, if you are willing to dive into the cenote, bring a swimsuit, a towel, and a change of clothes.
