About this experience

The northern lights known as the aurora borealis, are caused by collisions between particles from the sun with the upper atmosphere near the North Pole or Southern Pole. In Iceland, they are visible during the winter months, from late August to April. They appear in many different forms and colors although light green and pink are the most common.

We have a team of Northern Lights experts, their primary job in the winter is to study carefully the weather and aurora forecast. This team helps our drivers to find the best location each night for our tours to see the lights. The truth is you can often see the lights from the city, however, they are never as clear and magnificent as the city lights making them less visible.

Our driver will prepare the car warm and nice for the trip, and take you to the best location to see them. The northern lights are an unforgettable sight to witness and you deserve to enjoy the sights in the best possible conditions.
