The Cradle Mountain Park Explorer Tour is a fully guided interpretive tour whereby you discover the unique flora, fauna and geographical features of the World Heritage listed Cradle Mountain National Park.
Enjoy a 4‑hour guided tour amongst the wilderness and experience the awesome views across Dove Lake to the jagged dolerite peaks of Cradle Mt, wander through the ancient King Billy Pine Forest at Waldheim Chalet. This tour includes lunch.

Explore the Chalet of the Weindorfer's, Kate and Gustav. This chalet offers great insight into the early history of Cradle Mountain.
Down at Dove Lake you will enjoy the iconic views of Cradle Mountain. Whilst here take a couple of short walks to see the infamous boatshed that sits on the shore of Dove Lake and over to see Glacier Rock that was formed during the ice age. There is also time to have lunch at this point.
Take a leisurely walk through the rainforest to see the ancient King Billy Pines, the deciduous beech tree being the Fagus, renowned in Tasmania and the pandani plants.
