The Acropolis Museum is an archaeological museum focused on the findings of the archaeological site of the Acropolis of Athens. The museum was built to house every artifact found on the rock and on the surrounding slopes, from the Greek Bronze Age to Roman and Byzantine Greece. IMPORTANT INFORMATION
1. This tour includes approximately one mile of walking uphill/downhill on uneven surfaces and 200 steps (both ways).
2. Guests are advised to wear flat and comfortable walking shoes.
3. Large backpacks and oversized purses are not permitted inside the site.
4. Long queues and waiting might occur and every effort is made to coordinate the best timings for visits.
5. The order of sites may be reversed based on traffic, weather, and overcrowding of venues.
6. Temperatures can get extremely high during summer. Guests are encouraged to wear hats, sunglasses, insect repellent, sunscreen lotion, and to stay hydrated. An optional umbrella to create shade is also advisable.
7. Guests are encouraged to bring credit cards and currency to purchase optional extras such as souvenirs, food, and beverages.
8. You should never feel that gratuities are expected, but it is customary to leave a tip in recognition of exceptional service in restaurants, taxis, and for excursion guides and drivers. It is always up to you to determine the amount.
9. The tour will be refunded 100% in case of force majeure.
