Important Note: Make sure to register your mobile pass in the app using the activation code (reservation number) from your voucher before using the pass.
Your pass activates when you first use it at a free attraction or transportation service like AREX, K-Limousine, or Seoul Bike (Jingle Bell). For example, with a 48-hour pass starting at 9 AM on January 1, you can enjoy benefits until 8:59 AM on January 3. Travel tickets must be redeemed within the pass’s validity period (24/48/72/120 hours).
To use the Discover Seoul Pass (Mobile Version), first purchase the pass and check your email for the voucher. Then, download the Discover Seoul Pass app from Google Play or the App Store. Open the app, go to the “View More” section, and tap on “Pass Registration.” Select “Register Mobile Pass” and enter the activation code (reservation number) found in your voucher. The pass will begin its countdown once you first use it at a free attraction or transportation service, such as the AREX train, K Limousine, or Seoul Bike.
To use Seoul Bike with the Discover Seoul Pass, open the Discover Seoul Pass app and tap “Non-member” in the top-right corner. Then, select “Purchase Voucher” and choose “One Day Voucher” as the voucher type. Next, select Discover Seoul Pass as the payment method and scan the QR code. Finally, enter the 8-digit code on the bike’s screen to unlock and start using the bicycle.
To use the AREX train with the Discover Seoul Pass, simply show the barcode on the back of your pass at the airport express ticket counter to receive your train ticket. If your pass does not have a barcode, open the Discover Seoul Pass app and follow the on-screen instructions to redeem your AREX ticket.
Present the QR code in the app to enter attractions. Always check operating hours and closures on the app or official websites before visiting.
Mobile passes do not include T-money or Rail+ functions and are for foreign individual users only. Korean nationals and group use (10+ people) are not permitted and may be restricted at some attractions.
The app requires an internet connection. If issues occur, reinstall the app or contact the Discover Seoul Pass Customer Center at 02-1644-1060. For Lotte World, exchange your pass for a physical ticket at the South Gate “Overseas Tickets” counter.
