The Habitat Penang Hill will now be open from 9am to 9pm (Last Entry 6.30PM)
The Habitat Café and Retail Operation Hours: 10.00am to 5.00pm daily.
Train's operating hours can range from 15 minutes to an hour depending on the crowd (peak or non-peak hour).
Penang Hill Funicular tram ticket is excluded. Tram tickets can be purchased Penang Hill Funicular Train Ticketing counter located at Lower Station.
Please present either mobile or printer voucher to redeem the tickets at ticketing office at uphill.
Guest to purchase train ticket at lower station. Upon reaching train station uphill, there will be at least 7min walk to reach The Habitat ticketing office
Visitors entering after 5.30 pm will be required to purchase an Evening Walk add-on ticket at RM18 per pax.
Non-Evening Walk (Standard Entrance Ticket) visitors must exit the park by 7.00 pm.
Evening Walk visitors may exit at any time via the main entrance (front gate). The park officially closes at 9.00 pm
Sunset views and night walk experiences are weather-dependent and cannot be guaranteed.
When the weather is favourable, Evening Walk visitors will have the chance to enjoy the sunset and join a complimentary Night Walk.
The Night Walk begins at Curtis Crest around 7.45 pm (once it is sufficiently dark), lasts approximately one hour, and ends at the main entrance by 8.45 pm.
Please be informed that The Habitat Penang Hill will operate for the day session only from 9:00 AM on Friday, 17 October 2025, with the last entry at 4:00 PM and all visitors required to exit by 6:00 PM, as there will be no Evening Walk session due to a private event.
