The tour begins with the departure from the hotels in San Pedro de Atacama, cradle of the Atacamean culture and archeological capital of Chile.
We will travel to Toconao, a town that, according to scientific data, has a human life data of more than 12,000 years in the ancient sectors known as lickanantai. In this town is the church of San Lucas, with its small adobe and straw bell tower. We will also visit the workshop and the craft fair in the area, rich in articles of alpaca wool and crafts in cacti.
Then we will continue to the Salar de Atacama, the largest in Chile, to visit the Los Flamencos National Reserve. We will also visit the Chaxa lagoon, with a viewpoint, where you can recognize the different species of flamingos in the area. There we will enjoy some time to walk and photograph this unique show.
The walk ends with the return to San Pedro de Atacama.
