We will begin our visit leaving from our selected hotels in Pucón to the Conguillío National Park. This National Park of the IX Region was created in 1950 to protect various endangered species native to this place.
Inside the National Park we can find the Sierra Nevada and Llaima volcanoes, through which lava plugs formed from its eruptions that gave rise to different lakes such as the Conguillío, and the Captrén, Arco Iris and Verde lagoons.
Upon reaching the entrance we will see a beautiful escorial that covers the valley, in which we can see the volcano on the right, and on the left an ancient forest where the araucarias abound. We will continue entering the forest until we find the control booth. Here we will get general information about the National Park and we can decide what activities to do.
Here we will have free time to carry out various activities, such as visiting the Administration and Environmental Information Center where we can observe an exhibition that describes the flora and geology of the park, visit the camping areas with cafeteria and provisions store, do a trekking along the trails programmed for adults and children, or even rent canoes to navigate the lakes.
After an impressive day exploring the National Park, we will be returning to our selected hotels in Pucón at approximately 4 PM.
We suggest you to confirm the booking details with us prior to travel, or upon arrival at your destination. Please note that departure times and locations may vary slightly.
