La Plata Island is located within the Machalilla National Park, it is considered the second most important reserve in Ecuador, this is because this reserve has an immense diversity of fauna and sea birds such as: blue-footed boobies, legs red, Nazca boobies, tropical bird, frigates, a huge colony of Hawksbill turtles, dolphins, manta rays and the visit of Humpback Whales from June to October; among others.
This charming place is also known as the "Economic Galapagos", since here you can see some of the species that can also be seen in the Galapagos Islands.

We will start our wonderful tour around 09:00 in the morning from Puerto Lopez, we will go to the pier to take a boat to the magical Isla de la Plata (during the months of June to October only, the whale watching is possible).
Once we arrive, we will take a walk with a guide (English / Spanish) and we can observe the magnificent landscape of the island. After this, we will go to Drake Bay where we will observe the Hawksbill turtles (this is one of the last reserves in the world).
We will have the option of snorkeling and swimming with fish, turtles, brunettes, starfish and coral reefs.
