You’ll cruise the imposing Argentinian Lake, surrounded by majestic landscapes and unique views that anticipate an unforgettable experience. More intense and challenging than the traditional Minitrekking, the glacier hike will allow you to explore deep crevasses, crystal clear lagoons and amazing ice formations such as seracs. With crampons on your feet, you’ll walk through the heart of the glacier, visit a waterfall and close the adventure with a toast on board during the boat return.
This experience is designed for those who seek closer contact with nature and want to live a demanding and off-the-beaten-beaten-path.
Whether you’ve already explored the glacier in a traditional way or just want to take your adventurous spirit one step further, this challenge will allow you to push your boundaries and enjoy one of the most striking landscapes in Patagonia.

Early in the morning we will pick you up from your hotel in El Calafate to go to Los Glaciares National Park, an emblem of Argentine Patagonia, located at a distance of 80 km.
After an hour of travel aboard our transport, we will reach the boarding dock at the port "Under Shadows".
We will embark on a 20-minute crossing through the Rico Arm, enjoying breathtaking panoramic views of the majestic Perito Moreno Glacier.
For those passengers who wish to book without transfers, start the ride from this point.
Upon reaching the opposite shore, we will disembark in a private sector where our bilingual mountain guides will provide the necessary directions to begin the journey to the edge of the glacier. Once on the ice, we will place crampons to ensure a comfortable and safe walk. The crossing lasts approximately three hours, traveling moraine and ice in a more demanding circuit than traditional Minitrekking, with longer distance and slopes. During the tour we will discover streams, lagoons, cracks and spectacular ice formations of a deep blue.
We will also visit a waterfall near the glacier and close with a toast on board, with whiskey served on ice extracted from Perito Moreno. Finally, we will return by boat to the port Bajo de las Sombras.
To complete the day, you will enjoy free time to have lunch and walk the walkways, perfect to admire the glacier from different angles and capture spectacular photos.
If you do not require transfers our guide will be waiting for you at the Port Under the Shadows.
The entrance fee to Los Glaciares National Park is not included. Admission to the park can only be paid at the entrance gate and in Argentine Pesos. Credit card payments are not accepted.
