About this experience

Mindo is a very quiet place located in a valley, in this tour we can see birds like the rooster of the rock, bright red, toucans, owls, hummingbirds, wild ducks, quetzales, blackbirds, carpenters among others. It also has approximately 2000 endemic plant species from Ecuador, including a wide variety of wild orchids and around of 40 different types of butterflies.

Additionally, you will have the possibility to visit beautiful waterfalls where you can practice adventure sports or hiking, don't miss it!

Detailed itinerary

We will start the tour passing by hotels from 7 am from downtown hotels in Quito.

After traveling for two and a half hours through a beautiful landscape and feeling the climate change from the highlands to the coast, with an incredible variety of flora and fauna, we will also visit the viewpoint of the crater of the Pululahua volcano. Where we can take some beautiful pictures of the landscape.

Among the activities to do we have, different options of extreme sports, Canopy, Biking, Tubing and buggis, and if you are one of the people who likes calm and relaxation, we have a walk in the cloud forest and observe the wonderful waterfalls in which we will have the opportunity to climb on the tarabita.

To conclude, for the bird watching lovers we have the butterfly farm, the hummingbirds and Toucans.

After this great journey into the nature that characterizes Ecuador, we will return to the city of Quito
