The tour starts at the one of the 7 Wonders of the World: Christ the Redeemer. Located 2.300 ft above the see level, guests can use the panoramic elevators or escalators to arrive at the foot of the statue. At the top, passengers have the change to see a panoramic view of the city and discover why it is called the “Marvelous City”.
After we stop for lunch, the tour continues towards Sugar Loaf Mountain, two hills compose the landscape and the journey to the top is made in glass cable cars. The first one takes to Urca Hill which rises 215 meters above sea level and offers spectacular view of the entire Guanabara bay. The second one takes to Sugar Loaf and from where passengers can see the entire city including beaches, Corcovado Mountain and the downtown.
The tour also includes a city tour through the downtown. We stop at the Metropolitan Cathedral and the traditional Escadaria Selarón. Then we stop in front of the Sambadrome and Maracanã Stadium to take some pictures from outside.
