The tour starts at 07 AM, leaving from our selected hotels in Santiago, towards the Cajon de las Arenas, located near the El Morado National Park.
The park is part of a protected area in the heart of the Andes Mountains, that covers the Morales river and adjacent mountains, highlighting the mountain El Morado, with an altitude of 5,060 meters (16,596 feet), and that gives the Park its name.
At approximately 10:30 am we will arrive at Cajon del Arenas, where we will begin our ride, which has an estimated 2 hours and 30 minutes length. During this trip we will appreciate the impressive lake where lies the ancient Morado hanging glacier, which will surprise us with its icebergs and ice walls in one of the most spectacular landscapes that we can find so close to the metropolitan area.
After the ride, we will enjoy a delicious Box Lunch, surrounded by spectacular mountains. You will also have a gastronomic experience, with an exquisite cheese and serrano ham board and an exquisite Chilean wine.
