After a brief safety talk and orientation, you will drive your own ATV through rustic trails, mud roads and beautiful rural landscapes. We will explore the heart of the Dominican countryside, passing through local plantations and authentic communities where you can see the daily life of Puerto Plata. It’s an adrenaline-filled, nature-filled experience, perfect for those looking to get a little dirty and see the real Dominican Republic.

Enjoy a full tour of Puerto Plata’s most iconic landmarks. On this 2-hour City Tour, we will visit the Fortress of San Felipe (a historical glimpse of the 16th century), the famous Calle de las Umbrellas (Umbrella Street) and Paseo de Doña Blanca (Pink Street) for the best photos of your trip. We will walk through Central Park to admire Victorian architecture and visit St Philip's Cathedral. To close with a golden clasp, we include a visit to the Chocolate Factory or a local rum tasting, learning about the history and authentic taste of 'The Bride of the Atlantic'.
