Detailed itinerary

1
Stop 1

Step back in time and walk the marble streets of one of the best-preserved ancient cities in the world. You will see the magnificent Celsus Library, the Grand Theatre, the Temple of Hadrian, and the Odeon. Your guide will share the fascinating history of Roman life here.

2
Stop 2

A short photo stop at the site of one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. Although only a single column remains, the history and the view of the Basilica of St. John in the background are breathtaking.

3
Stop 3

The House of the Virgin Mary: Visit the sacred stone house located on Nightingale Mountain, believed to be the final resting place of the Virgin Mary. This holy shrine is a place of pilgrimage for both Christians and Muslims. During your visit, you can feel the spiritual atmosphere inside the chapel, drink from the Holy Water springs (said to have healing properties), and write your prayers on the famous Wishing Wall. A truly peaceful experience in nature.

4
Stop 4

Isa Bey Mosque (14th Century Masterpiece): Discover one of the oldest and most impressive works of architectural art remaining from the Anatolian Beyliks. Built in 1375, this mosque is a unique transition between Seljuk and Ottoman styles. Unlike typical mosques, it features an asymmetrical plan and a monumental crown door. Admire the intricate stonework, the peaceful courtyard, and the stunning view of St. John’s Basilica on the hill above.

5

Cultural Experience: After the historical sights, we will visit a local handicraft center to see a demonstration of traditional Turkish arts (Carpet weaving or Leather fashion). This is a great opportunity to learn about local culture and craftsmanship. (Shopping is optional).
