What you'll see

Self-Skippered & Easy to Drive: You and your group will captain the vessel. The pontoons are designed to be extremely stable and easy to operate, even for first-time users.

No License Required (Daytime): A skipper's ticket or boat driver's license is not required for hire during daylight hours. The driver must be over 18 and present a driver's license or photo ID.

Capacity Limit: The maximum legal capacity is 8 people (passengers, including adults, children, and infants over 12 months, all count towards this limit). This limit cannot be exceeded.

Safety & Briefing: Safety is a high priority. You must arrive 15–20 minutes before your allocated time for check-in and a safety briefing, which is part of your hire time.

Cruising: The vessel can be used to explore the scenic canals, view luxury canal homes, and look out for local wildlife like dolphins.

Restrictions: Fishing and crabbing are not allowed off the pontoons. There are no toilets aboard, but public toilets are located near the Visitor Centre.
