The panga (water taxi) trip from Playa Las Animas to Yelapa Pier is a short, scenic coastal ride on small open boats, typically lasting 15-20 minutes. Upon arrival at the pier, the hike to the waterfall is an easy 10-20 minute uphill stroll through the quaint village, crossing a river (which may require wading in the rainy season) to reach a picturesque cascade with a refreshing swimming hole.
