We begin our journey with an important visit to Marrakech’s famous Botanical and Artist’s Landscape Garden. Created in 1923 by the French Orientalist painter Jacques Majorelle, this enchanting garden opened to the public in 1947.
Dedicated to the legacy of the legendary French fashion designer, the Musée Yves Saint Laurent Marrakech (mYSLm) opened its doors in autumn 2017. The museum showcases an exceptional selection from the Fondation Pierre Bergé – Yves Saint Laurent’s remarkable collection, which includes 5,000 pieces of clothing, 15,000 haute couture accessories, and tens of thousands of sketches and archival items.
After visiting the Majorelle Garden, the Berber Museum, and the Yves Saint Laurent Museum, you’ll continue toward Gueliz (pass by). On your way to the Medina, you’ll pass through the “new city” — the modern side of Marrakech. Designed and built by the French in the early 1900s, Gueliz has become the vibrant heart of the Red City, home to popular international brands, elegant boutiques, and stylish cafés. You’ll also pass along its main avenue, often referred to as “the Champs-Élysées of Marrakech.”
Then, we continue our drive through the ancient walls of the old town, known as the Medina, heading toward the Koutoubia Mosque. Founded in 1147, it is the largest mosque in Marrakech and one of the city’s most iconic landmarks. Its impressive minaret has inspired other famous structures, such as the Giralda of Seville and the Hassan Tower of Rabat. Your guide will lead you on a tour of the site, sharing fascinating insights and historical details about this remarkable monument.
We then continue driving through the imperial Kasbah, making a stop at the famous Bab Agnaou gate — one of the 19 historic entrances that lead through the ramparts of Marrakech. Dating back to the 12th century during the Almohad Berber dynasty, this majestic gate once served as the main entrance to the Caliphal Kasbah, the administrative and military center of power located in the southern part of the city. Flanked by two cannons, Bab Agnaou stands today as one of Marrakech’s most impressive and emblematic monuments.

After completing our visit to the Bahia Palace, we’ll take a lunch break to enjoy a delicious meal of traditional Moroccan cuisine.
Afterward, we’ll continue our journey with a guided walk through the lively Semmarine Souks, where you’ll explore the vibrant and colorful markets of Marrakech’s Medina. Follow your guide as you wander through a maze of stalls where Arab and Berber cultures come alive in a symphony of color, sound, and creativity. Breathe in the aroma of exotic spices, taste fresh olives, feel the texture of fine leather goods, and shop for unique local handicrafts — a true feast for the senses.
After exploring the labyrinth of the Souks, we’ll arrive at the world-famous Jemaa El-Fnaa Square, the lively heart of Marrakech. Here, you’ll witness a vibrant spectacle of snake charmers, storytellers, acrobats, musicians, and street vendors bringing the old city to life. As evening falls, the square transforms into an open-air dining haven filled with the aromas of Moroccan dishes served at countless food stalls. This bustling square is truly the main attraction for visitors to Marrakech, offering an unforgettable experience of the city’s authentic spirit and energy.
Lastly, we conclude our visit with the final landmark of the day the Ben Youssef Madrasa. Once the largest Quranic school in the Medina, it now serves as a fascinating historical site. At its peak, the Ben Youssef Madrasa was the largest Islamic college in Morocco. It takes its name from the nearby Ben Youssef Mosque, founded by the Almoravid Sultan Ali ibn Yusuf (who reigned from 1106 to 1142).
Renowned as one of the most remarkable sites in the Red City, the Madrasa impresses visitors with its exquisite architecture and serene courtyards. Your guide will share rich historical insights and stories about its cultural and educational significance.
At the end of the tour, we’ll return to your accommodation, marking the end of an unforgettable day in Marrakech.
Travelers will meet their guide at the agreed meeting point or hotel pickup location. Detailed directions and WhatsApp location will be shared 2 hours before the tour. Tickets for optional attractions (e.g., Jardin Majorelle, Bahia Palace) must be purchased separately on-site.
