About this experience

Marco Island Boat Tours, a sister company of Everglades Area Tours, has been offering educational tours since the 90's. All our guides are formally trained, full-time Florida Master Naturalist and have years more experience than all others. The 10,000 Islands Wildlife Refuge is a wilderness and the wildlife are just that wild! However, our decades of experiences affords the best opportunity to locate, view and photograph wildlife.

Note: June through October, we suggest the morning experiences due to the weather.

The 10,000 Isalnd National Wildlife Refuge is a wonderful place to interact with dolphins, manatees, wading birds, raptors, sea birds and shore birds. The shelling is absolutely the BEST in Florida

0n a safe and comfortable tour boat, you will be safely 10,000 Islands for an interpretive tour with your naturalist guide.

Depending on the season, you can expect to encounter manatees, dolphins, sea turtles, bald eagles, ospreys, herons, egrets, pelicans, rosette spoonbills, as well as, numerous species of fish and shore birds.

Not only will you be introduced to the wonderful birding and wildlife in the area, you will also learn about the area's ecosystems, it rich heritage and long history.

Most private experiences are limit to six guests, so you can expect an intimate experience in the wilderness. However, we so have options for groups of up to 17.
