Star-Plucking Terrace: Located on the eastern peak, it juts out from the cliff. It has a magnificent view, with the wind swirling the clouds, the river flowing through the forest, and the waterfall pouring down into the valley below.
Pillar in the South Sky: It is a 200 - meter - high solitary peak in the southeastern valley. With bushes on top and trees covering the bottom, it stands firmly, resembling a pillar reaching up to the sky.
Immortal Turtle in the Mist: In the west of Huangshizhai, there is an oval - shaped rock that looks like a huge turtle, about 5 meters long, 2 meters wide, and 2 meters high, as if creeping slowly in the mist.
Six Wonder Pavilion: It is a great place to overlook the surrounding scenery.

Yangjiajie Scenic Area is one of the core scenic areas in Zhangjiajie's Wulingyuan Scenic Area. It is famous for its primitive natural scenery and the "险" (steepness) feature. Here are some of its notable attractions:
Oolong Village: It was formerly known as "Heilong Village" and was the residence of bandits in western Hunan. The village is built against the mountain, and the path up the mountain is very steep. You need to use your hands and feet to climb, and pass through three "Ghost Gates" on the way.
Tianbo Mansion: It is a platform on the top of the mountain, surrounded by dozens of cliffs. There are more than 10 natural stone walls of different heights, which look like the ruins of the Tianbo Mansion of the Yang Family Generals. It is one of the best photography locations in Zhangjiajie.
One Step to Heaven: It is the highest peak in Yangjiajie. After climbing 32 iron ladders, you can reach the top of the mountain.
