Pickup at Al Habtoor Palace Budapest, Preferred Hotels & Resorts (Erzsébet tér 9–10, Once the group is together, we’ll board the minivan and head to Etyek (about 40 minutes), after a quick briefing on the plan and timings.

Arrive to a sparkling-wine welcome at a 17th-Century historic watermill. Hear how truffle traditions meet Hungarian hospitality in this unique setting; great spot for photos.

Head into the forest(By the mill, easy to walk) with a licensed local truffle hunter and his trained dogs for a genuine search. Along the way, we’ll show you how the dogs are prepared and handled, how to “read” the terrain and trees, and the etiquette of a respectful hunt. We’ll also share the traditions of black truffle hunting in Hungary and give a clear, guest-friendly overview of the key rules when searches are allowed, where and with whose permission, and how responsible, legal truffle hunting is done in practice.

Gourmet Tasting (mill tasting area)
Savor classic “nature” foie gras, our signature foie gras with black truffle & Tokaji Aszú, and truffle butter crowned with fresh truffle - paired with more bubbles. Light bites included. We’ll also explain how to use black truffle in the kitchen, with practical tips on selecting, storing, shaving, and finishing dishes to capture the aroma.

Etyek Family Presshouse (Winemaker-Led)
Short countryside drive to Etyek(10 min). Enjoy a tasting of 4–5 locally made wines presented by the winemaker, hear the presshouse story, and visit the cellar; extra snacks if the wines come in strong.

Next, we head to a second winery stop, one of Etyek’s oldest, history-rich wineries - where you’ll sit down to a traditional Hungarian lunch prepared on site and paired with the winery’s own wines. Expect vineyard views and a relaxed, unhurried pace.
