About this experience

A small-group walking tour with local Roman guides
Step back in time on this 2.5-hour relaxed and engaging walking tour that will walk you through the streets and alleys of the ancient harbour of Ostia: the most important naval base of Rome in the imperial time.
Admission to the archaelogical site is not included.
The park, one of the largest in Europe, reveals temples, thermal baths, mythraeums, domus, insulae, diners, factories, defensive walls and a necropolis.
The walk continues beyond the archaeological park into the Borghetto of Ostia, a beautifully intact medieval citadel enclosed by fortified walls and dominated by a magnificent 15th-century Renaissance castle commissioned by Pope Julius II.
A tour is easy to reach by public transport or a private transfer.
A small group, up to 6 people, so that conversatione will flow nice and smooth.
