About this experience

Held in your actual family home just outside Brașov, this experience is all about warmth, authenticity, and the feeling of being truly welcomed. You’ll learn to make traditional sarmale the same way they’ve been prepared in our family for generations, all while enjoying unlimited local wine, țuică, and a taste of our homemade cherry liqueur, vișinată. As we cook together, you’ll also get to sample a spread of classic Romanian snacks like cheeses, sausages, pork skin, and other favorites, while hearing personal stories and traditions that bring our culture to life. Every dish you’ll enjoy is made by you, with a little guidance from a true Romanian mom, and the intimate atmosphere ensures that by the end, guests don’t just feel like visitors, they feel like part of the family.
