About this experience

We will pick you up from your hotel in Luang Prabang Old Town and take you to see the signature performance of the Luang Prabang International Theatre – the play *Buddha's Light*.

This play tells the story of the Buddha's descent to earth, the spread of Buddhism, and related myths and legends, allowing the audience to deeply understand Buddhist concepts such as compassion, karma, and reincarnation.

*Buddha's Light* tells the story of the universe: from the withering of the lotus and the sprouting of the Bodhi tree, to the Buddha's descent to earth and attainment of liberation.

The plot reveals the causal relationship between good and evil in the world, the confusion and awakening of sentient beings, and how the Buddha's compassion and wisdom guide humanity towards enlightenment.

After the performance, you can watch a 10-15 minute farewell song and dance performance (participation is not mandatory). After the event, we will take you back to your hotel.
