Located in the Podgórze district of Krakow, Ghetto Heroes Square bears witness to the tragic history of the Jewish ghetto that once occupied this area from 1941 to 1943. Today, the square features a poignant monument consisting of several dozen cast-iron chairs placed individually. These chairs symbolize the personal belongings and property of Krakow's Jewish residents, scattered on the streets following the liquidation of the ghetto.
