Detailed itinerary

After pick-up from the railway station / your hotel (after breakfast from the hotel) in Udaipur, we will proceed for a full-day sightseeing tour of Udaipur.

Stop 2

You will visit City Palace, overlooking the dreamy Lake Pichola, it is a fine example of the splendour of rulers of the Mewar dynasty (Mewar is the ancient region under the rule of the Rajput Kings). The construction of the palace started in 1553, and it took nearly 400 years to complete the palace. The Palace is considered to be the largest royal complex in Rajasthan with attractions like Durbar Hall, Crystal Gallery and Palace Museum.

Located close to the palace is Lake Pichola, where you will be enjoying a Boat Ride on the shimmering waters

stop at the ancient Jagdish Temple, which dates back to the 16th century. One has to climb 32 marble steps to reach the main shrine. A major landmark and a big tourist attraction of the city, the temple is the largest Hindu temple in Udaipur.

Stop 5

Passing through the historic streets of Udaipur, we will arrive at Vintage Car Museum. The museum is one of the best ways to get a glimpse of the glamorous lifestyle of the Mewar Kings. The grand vehicles were once used by the Maharajas.

Later, visit Saheliyon-ki-Bari (Courtyard or Garden of the Maidens), an ornamental garden built in the 18th century as a present to the royal ladies for recreational purpose. The garden features fountains and kiosks, a lotus pool, and marble elephants (each carved out of single piece of stone).

In the evening after the tour is over, we will transfer you to your hotel in Udaipur, or drop you at the Railway Station for your onward journey. The tour ends here.
