About this experience

Begin this experience with a visit to the charming town of Santa María Huatulco, the municipal seat of the region.
Here you can:
stroll through its main square;
admire the town church, a beautiful temple with history and devotion that reflects the cultural essence of the community;
Enjoy its colorful murals, which tell the history and identity of Santa María through local art.

Afterwards, we head to the community of Benito Juárez, where we'll live with local families and learn about their way of life. We'll learn how to make nixtamalized corn tostadas, a tradition that's been around for over 40 years.

We will visit a coffee plantation and experience the artisanal process: harvesting (in season), pulping, drying, roasting, and tasting a freshly brewed cup of coffee.

We'll also explore a cacao plantation on a hike, taste fresh cacao beans, and make artisanal chocolate from scratch.

During the tour, we'll enjoy exotic seasonal fruits such as soursop, mamey, tangerines, pineapple, bananas, and products like cinnamon and vanilla.
