11.15 AM - Private Gallery Visits on Dundas Street and Stockbridge
Every gallery visit is scheduled in advance, and you will be welcomed as an expected guest. Current exhibitions will be presented to you personally, and upon request, works from private collections or back catalogues can be arranged for viewing. Thanks to long-standing relationships with gallerists and collectors, you’ll enjoy discreet introductions, meaningful conversations, and privileged access to exceptional art.
Before your visit, I will ask for your collecting interests or specific preferences — whether in Scottish painting, contemporary art, or antiques — and tailor each stop accordingly.
1.00 PM - Heading for lunch & discovery at the Scottish Antique & Arts Centre
In the afternoon, we travel 60 miles up north to the Scottish Antique & Arts Centre in Abernyte, a unique destination with over 100 expert dealers under one roof. At the centre, we will dine at the elegant Café Circa, followed by a guided two-hour exploration of fine art, antiques, and rare objects from across Scotland.
From 18th-century furniture to collectible silver and decorative arts — you will have an opportunity to find hidden gems and get something unusual for your collection.
