About this experience

We offer wide range of backwater activities. Among them The Combination Tour ( Houseboat Cruise + Country boat ride with Meals) is the unique & most demanding.
The Combination tour is around 6 -8 hours.
Starts by around 6 O'clock in the morning to 12 noon OR 9 O'clock in the morning to 3:30-4:00 in the evening.
One part is a Country Boat ride through the small & narrow back water canals were the houseboat and other touristic boats can’t navigate. A Country Boat has a retractable roof which enables it to travel under small bridges & culverts. You can experience the may facets of village life and explore the flora and fauna of Kuttanad. By around 9 O'clock the houseboat cruise starts and for the next 3 hours you will cruise through the big lakes and canals like Punnamada, Vembanad, Kuttamangalam, some historical paddy fields and village canals. In this 3 hours you will see almost all areas of an overnight cruise with increased speed - Nonstop. House boat will be based on availbility.

It will go through all the small and narrow canals and under the bridges in the backwater village areas where the Houseboat cant navigate. The country boat will navigate through the Meenappally Lake and surrounding villages and paddy field areas.
